I know Chaddy and Sal said they were unavailable except for one weekend late in November but can't remember which it was.

Any chance for a game before Christmas?

i believe they mentioned the weekend f the 29th, i am hoping that date is still going ahead

Not sure yet. I will have to check at school, but it will have to be after Exams and Reports. I have a hell of a week in there, but I think it is week or 2 before this. (I am not in at work until Wednesday - i will check then).

Well I just got my roster to the end of Nov and Im on call the weekend of the 29th so would prefer the 6th of Dec, but I might be able to get someone to swap with me, but I wont be able to do that until at least Wednesday next week, and that may be cutting it fine.

However of most people prefer the 29th then go ahead and I may just have to miss some game time.

I'm on night shifts on both of those nights, so I'm going to miss half the session either way.

If we go the 29th, I'm also working the night beforehand so probably wouldn't contribute much during the day, however if we go the 6th I've a much better chance of at least being awake during the day, so that would be much better. (Plus I've got a much better chance of being able to swap out the 6th with someone than the 29th).

If we can lock that in asap, it also means I can start trying to sort out a swap, so I might be able to play the whole night too.

Okay, I hope it is okay with Nicko, but it looks like Dec 6th is the preferred date, and to be honest I am more comfortable with that one too. It is a little longer after the hectic time at work and means I can actually string 2 weeks of bowls in a row ;)

Sorry to see Nicko cannot be there, but I guess everyone else is okay.

(On a side note, if Nicko is watching. Milky's mum passed away last week. I am off to the funeral in a little while. Might see Greg and maybe Paul & Justin Cummins (as it was their aunty. You probably keep in touch via Facebook or somesuch, but I thought I would just let you know ;)).

that is sad news, i have not seen greg for years, last time saw was in kalgoorlie about 10 years ago. A shame i cannot be there this weekend but all have fun and i look forward to hearing how we went, hopefully the mountain lair is a cakewalk and no one gets squashed.
