As you know Connors, not playing much I don't get to use too much of this stuff.
I HAVE though, been spending some time recently going through the encounter tables, rolling up some random dice and seeing how they would put together.
Now given that my creature tables are still a little sketchy, I don't have them fully worked out yet, and I might need some alterations to better suit my needs (eg. I don't have anywhere near the number of pictures to use as references as you do :) Might need to expand out some of those early d10 tables into d20 or even d100 tables in order to tweak those numbers as required.
Might also pay to add some different categories to the monsters, specifically in that there are no traps mentioned. The likes of a hunting party that has set snares or similar.
Having said all of that though, some of the encounters I've generated with the tables will actually be making appearances in the Azentia campaign in the future, as the setup really does work. I'm still not 100% sure how I would feel about using them as a random encounter in a game generated there on the spot, but I have definitely started to get a feel for them.
Furthermore, I was looking at them as a great tool for publishing under the Black Hill Games banner… but that might be a conversation for a later date.
